How much does maple.website cost?
Hosting is $10 CAD/month. The one-time build starts at $50 (includes 20,000 characters of copy, 4 custom images, and 2 hours of work). Extra copy is $0.20 per 1,000 characters, extra images $2 each, extra hours $40/hr quoted in advance.
How is website building billed?
By characters + custom images + hours - never by the number of pages. The $50 base build includes 20,000 characters, 4 images, and 2 hours; anything beyond is added on at the rates above.
Can I use my own content and images?
Yes. Characters and images are billed when we create them. Upload your own copy and images instead and your build stays inside the included allotment, often at the flat $50.
What does hosting include?
Canadian hosting, SSL certificate, CDN, daily backups, AEO/SEO structure, and hosting or connecting a domain you already own - all for $10 CAD/month.
Where are my site and data hosted?
On Canadian infrastructure. Privacy copy is PIPEDA-aligned and you are billed in Canadian dollars - no surprise USD conversions or offshore data trips.
How fast will my site be?
Sites are built lean with strong Core Web Vitals, served over a CDN, so they load fast - which also helps both Google and AI answer engines trust and quote them.
How long until my site is live?
Most sites go from a 10-minute brief to live in 7 to 14 days: the AI drafts the site quickly, then a Canadian designer polishes and signs off.
Can you migrate or rebuild my existing site?
Yes. We can rebuild and improve an existing site or start from scratch - either way we handle the build, hosting, and ongoing upkeep.
Can you host a domain I already own?
Yes - connecting a domain you own is included in the $10/month hosting. We handle the DNS setup.
Can you get me a new domain name?
Buying a brand-new domain is a separate service. Domains range from about $20 to hundreds of thousands of dollars, so we quote those individually - contact us.
Do you provide email for my domain?
Yes - business email for your domain is available through MapleMail, which connects to your site and account.
How many pages can I have?
There's no fixed page-count limit. Because we bill by characters, images, and hours rather than pages, your site can be as small or as large as your content needs.
Can my site be bilingual (English and French)?
Yes. Bilingual EN/FR sites are available, which helps you serve customers and be recommended by AI assistants across New Brunswick and the rest of Canada.
Is my site mobile-friendly?
Yes - every site is responsive and mobile-first, with fast load times and tap-friendly layouts on phones and tablets.
Can I sell products online?
Yes - add MapleBuy (with MapleInventory) for full e-commerce that integrates right into your site: storefront, catalog, inventory sync, and orders flowing into your accounting.
Can I add an AI chat or sales agent to my site?
Yes - AI agents come from the Maple product that provides them (for example MapleInvoice, MapleChat, or MapleReceptionist). They attach to your free Maple account and drop onto your site.
What is answer-engine optimization (AEO)?
AEO is structuring your site so AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google's AI answers can understand it and recommend your business when someone asks them a question. maple.website bakes AEO into every page.
